Welcome to Hillside Ranch Vineyard — a boutique winery and vineyard in San Diego’s East County, just 30 minutes from downtown. Whether you’re looking for wine tasting near San Diego or exploring the region’s best wineries, we produce small-lot, handcrafted wines that reflect the character of Jamul and the granite-rich soils of our region. Whether grown in our estate vineyard or sourced from select vineyards nearby, every bottle captures the spirit of San Diego wine country.

Our Tasting Room is open and we’d love to have you visit. Stop by any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday — noon to 5pm — for wine tasting in the heart of San Diego’s East County. Walk-ins are always welcome, no reservation needed. Just come as you are.

We produce small-lot estate wines from our two-acre vineyard, including Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. We also work with grapes from neighboring East County vineyards to craft Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Riesling — wines that reflect the character of this corner of San Diego wine country.
