If you are reading this, you are already logged on, so you are just 3 clicks/selections away from editing your information.

In the menu, under the “Members” dropdown, select “Member Center.”

Once you are on that Member Center page, select “Edit My Listing.” You will be brought to a page showing your RVVA Member Business. Click on the name of your business and you will be brought to a page titled “Essential Info.” From here you can change basic information for the public to see in our directory.

You can put almost anything you would like in the listing details. Please keep in mind that this is a family viewable website. We recommend that all members add the following information to their profile:

  • Profile photo (make sure the photo is square and the size is between 300×300 and 600×600 pixels)
  • Contact information – including phone number and email (in appropriate fields)
  • Selected categories that fit your business.
  • Link to website (in appropriate fields)
  • Social media links (in appropriate fields)
  • A brief description (typically, people list hours of operation and/or a history of their winery or vineyard)
  • 1-3 additional photos, if desired

Lastly… Do not forget to scroll to the bottom and select Save Changes before exiting the page.

Any issues or questions can be sent to webmaster@rvva.org.

How Do The RVVA Email Distribution Lists Work?

The RVVA’s distribution lists are maintained on Google Groups. Your membership in which groups is based on your RVVA membership level.

The distribution lists used by the RVVA are:

One of the largest issues people have with sending email to a distribution list is using an email address that is not in the distribution list. For example, if you have two or more email addresses and the one in the list, is say jackandjill@upthehill.com and you send to the list with a different email account like jack@brokencrown.com, then your email will get rejected and you’ll be sitting there wondering why for a minute or two and then send a nastygram to the person maintaining the list saying all kinds of disparaging things about their upbringing.

To help prevent this from happening, you can submit additional email addresses that you would like to send to a list from. They will be set up as posting accounts so you can send mail to the list but only receive mail from the list on the account of your choice, unless you state you want to receive email on multiple accounts and then we would be happy to fill your inbox with duplicate messages.

Membership in a distribution list is not mandatory. You will initially be placed in the appropriate lists, but if you ever wish to be removed, updated, or whatever, please send a message to membership@rvva.org and we will try to meet your particular needs.
